ExpoUlla Lindborg paints water-colours and plants are her main subject. Ulla works for various companies and magazines and some of her drawings have been printed on paper napkins. The art society of the Swedish company Arla held an exhibition of Ulla´s water-colours at their head office in 1997.In 1996 she introduced herself to some art societies and a couple of them bought her art (Securitas and Föreningsbanken). At Föreningsbanken, she also held an exhibition in connection with the society´s annual meeting. 1993-1995, Ulla Lindborg exhibited water-colours at, among others, Galerie Origo and Glada Enkan. Joint exhibitions at the City Museum of Stockholm in 1988 (Ung i stan) and in 1986 (Stadens Industrier). These exhibitions were arranged in cooperation with the Swedish Association of Illustrators, of wich Ulla Lindborg is a member. The glazier Peter Sitell at N. P. Ringströms used one of Ulla´s flowers as a master when developing a new technique (fusing and sandblasting). During the same period Ulla took a course in interactive media and home page production at the ETC Academy. Ulla Lindborg also has studied DTP at ViLär in 1995 and marketing at RMI-Berghs Advertising Institute in 1993. In her youth Ulla attended a course in free-hand drawing at the University College of Arts, Craft and Design and spend one year at a preparatory art school. Furthermore, quite beside Ulla´s artistic work, she has studied pedagogy, sociology and criminology at Stockholm University. Ulla Lindborg works in a studio at Inedalsgatan (Stockholm) which she shares with the photographer Per Asplund. |
